VOLLEYBALL

Flintridge Prep 3, Sierra Vista 0: The Rebels improved to 8-3 on the year with Thursday afternoon’s nonleague road win.

Gavin Thomson notched 16 kills and 10 digs, while Kenyatta Smith had 11 kills and four blocks.

Steve Morse had 32 assists.

GIRLS’ TRACK AND FIELD

Glendale 98, Muir 26: Daniela Pollard tied a school record in the long jump with 17 feet 8 inches and broke her own school record in the triple jump (38-1) by almost a foot, as the Nitros won 12 of 15 events in a Pacific League home meet on Thursday.

Pollard also won the high jump (4-8) and was part of the winning 4x100-meter relay team (50.5 seconds) along with Alin Jabourian, Melisa Sanchez, and Elizabeth McLean.

Sanchez also won the 200- (27.9), 400-yard dash (1:03), while Jabourian won the 100 in 12.5. Frances Pasamba was a double-winner in the 1,600 (5:44) and 3,200 (12:41).

BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD

Muir 69, Glendale 54: David Hernandez won the 3,200-meter race in 11 minutes 28 seconds, Ronnie Marquez won the shot put with a throw of 44 feet, 2 1/2 inches, Randy Legaspi won the long jump (18-11), Matt Bogatz won the pole vault (9-6) and Roy Cameron won the triple jump (41), as the Nitros fell to the Mustangs in a Pacific League home meet on Thursday.

SOFTBALL

Immaculate Heart 4, Flintridge Prep 3: The Rebels (1-5) suffered a road loss to Immaculate Heart on a wild pitch that allowed the go-ahead run to score in the sixth inning on Wednesday.

Emma Vine homered in the loss, while Alina Khodadian and Annie Zaro each had two hits for Prep.

BOYS’ GOLF

Pasadena Poly 213, Flintridge Prep 232, Milken Community 251: Patrick Hilson of Flintridge Prep carded a seven-over-par 42 on Wednesday in a Prep League match at Brookside Golf Course No. 2.

St. Francis 181, Alemany 224: Richie Maloof and Chris Campbell each carded two-under-par 34s on Wednesday for the visiting Golden Knights in a Mission League match at Woodley Lakes Golf Course.
