Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra will present its Family Concert Series “Springtastic Strings” conducted by Margaret Batjer at the Alex Theatre, 216 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. Pre-concert activities begin at 1 p.m. with an instrument petting zoo and Kidspace’s World Famous Spider Show. The all-Vivaldi concert begins at 2 p.m. and features Bassoon Concerto in C major, RV 477; Concerto in B-flat major for violin and cello, RV 547; and Violin Concerto in E major, “Spring” from “The Four Season.” Tickets range from $10 to $16, with discounts for groups of 12 or more.
