The Glendale Religious Leaders Assn. is sponsoring a Community Good Friday Service at noon at the First Baptist Church of Glendale, 209 N. Louise St., Glendale. The service is a one- hour observance of the seven last words from the cross of Christ and will feature a meditation by the Rev. The Glendale Coin Club will meet from 7:30 to 10 p.m. in the basement of the Citibank building, 2350 Honolulu Ave., Montrose. Members collect everything from odd and curious coins to traditional U.S. coinages dating from colonial to altered coins. Beginning and advanced collectors are welcome.
