La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, the left rear tail lamp on a vehicle was smashed and the door hatch was crushed in the 5100 block between 1:30 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on Saturday.

Foothill Boulevard and Glenwood Avenue in La Crescenta, Stephen Valichnac, 18, of Arizona was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a wheelbarrow full of stolen items and a billy club. According to the report, deputies stopped the suspect as he was jay- walking across Foothill Boulevard, pushing a wheelbarrow. On questioning him, they discovered he had picked up the wheelbarrow and filled it with the property at a construction site in the 4400 block of Rosebank Street in La Cañada. He told the deputies that he could have taken more “stuff” but apparently took what could fit in the wheelbarrow. He was arrested for grand theft and being in possession of a billy club at 10:41 p.m. on Friday.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the front door of the Alcorn Liquor store was smashed and property was stolen in the 400 block, overnight on April 3-4.

Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a wallet and Blackberry phone were stolen and a combination lock was damaged from the Crescenta Valley High School gym locker in the 2900 block between 11:20 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on April 2.

Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, the front glass door was smashed and property was stolen from the Salon Andalucia in the 3000 block overnight March 31-April 1.

Chevy Chase Drive in La Cañada, a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of the La Cañada Community Center Preschool in the 4400 block at 4 p.m. on March 26.
