Meetings held for 710 tunnel project

For those interested in the 710 Tunnel project, two upcoming information meetings are available to learn more.

The SR-710 Tunnel Technical Study La Cañada Flintridge Community Meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 at the Lanterman Auditorium, 4491 Cornishon in La Cañada.

The city of Glendale is hosting a meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on May 27 at the Glendale Central Library.

Fire expo coming to Two Strike Park

The Crescenta Valley Fire Safe Council is hosting a wildlife fire safety expo from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 at Two Strike Park. “Surviving a wildfire — are you ready?” will feature new tools for making homes safe in case of emergency, safety demonstrations and information. Two Strike Park is located at 5107 Rosemont Ave. in La Crescenta. There is no charge to attend the expo.

Early deadlines for May 29 Valley Sun
