Family Fun Night was a good time for all

It was fun for the whole family as Rosemont Middle School hosted its annual Family Fun Night on Friday, May 15 on the school campus.

There was plenty to do for all ages at the event, with entertainment that included a moon bounce, a face-painter and a DJ. For hungry families, there was food to purchase, including small snacks such as a sno-cone or a bag of popcorn. For those with a sweet tooth, there was a bake sale on the east side of the school. The Jewel City Kiwanis filled the campus with the smell of cheeseburgers, hamburgers and French fries.

While people were eating, a balloon-maker, Ed from Kid Krazy, was kept busy. His handiwork could be found among the attendees as kids especially walked around with his swords, flowers and other creations. Ed kept everyone entertained while they waited in line, so no one was bored. The face-painter Victoria, who was also from Kid Krazy, was very focused throughout the entire night. Whatever a child wanted, she would paint it. Sports were a recurring theme at the game booths. Bowling, basketball, and even fishing could be attempted.

This year’s Family Fun Night did not disappoint, as most everyone left with a smile on their face. According to Associated Student Body (ASB) President Paul Park, “This night was a good turn out, and I’m very happy with the amount of people that sacrificed their Friday night to be here.”
