Results released at open house
The Planning Department is hosting a North Glendale Community Plan open house on June 1 and June 3 at Clark Magnet High School at 4747 New York Ave. from 7 to 9 p.m. The Planning Department will report back to the community about what they’ve heard during its public outreach efforts. Representatives will also solicit input concerning alternative viewpoints that were identified by the community. Information presented and received at these open houses will be forwarded to the city council for them to consider when directing future actions concerning North Glendale Community Plan preparation.

Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival
The 26th annual Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival, hosted by the Montrose Shopping Park Association, is from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 7. The fair features more than 400 fine artists, craftsmen, food vendors, California Certified farmers, musicians and entertainers who will be making their way to Montrose on festival weekend from as far away as Arizona and New Mexico.. The fair encompasses three blocks along Honolulu Avenue and is open to the public. For details, call (818) 399-9679.
