Montrose Avenue in La Crescenta, a woman reported that while she was helping serve a luncheon at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church her purse was stolen from the shelf she placed it on; 2400 block at 1 p.m. on Monday. Foothill Boulevard and Lowell Avenue in La Crescenta, a 20-year-old Sunland man was cited for suspicion of possession of a narcotic at 5:19 p.m. on Saturday.

Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a 20-year-old man, 18-year-old man and 19-year-old man, all from La Crescenta, were cited for suspicion of possession of a narcotic; 3300 block at 9:19 p.m. on Saturday.

Valihi Way and Verdugo Boulevard in La Crescenta, a 26-year-old Los Angeles woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant and driving without a driver’s license at 10:25 p.m. on Sunday.

Foothill Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta, a 36-year-old L.A. man was arrested on grand theft charges after he was found to be in possession of a reported stolen vehicle. According to a Glendale police report, there was a passenger in the car at the time of the arrest. The passenger was reported to have said he had called a taxi and was picked up by the suspect. The passenger allegedly thought the suspect was part of the taxi service at 11:24 p.m. on Sunday.

Honolulu and Pennsylvania avenues in La Crescenta, a 25-year-old Porter Ranch man was cited for suspicion of possession of a narcotic at 11:27 p.m. on June 12.

Waltonia Drive in Montrose, a 37-year-old woman from La Cañada was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary and giving false information to an officer. A resident reported that she witnessed the suspect and a male companion walking out of her backyard through a side gate. The suspect asked the woman for money; the resident told her she would not give her any cash and the suspect and man walked away. Deputies were called and while they were interviewing the woman they received a call from a nearby home. They arrived and a woman reported that she was in her backyard and heard her dogs barking aggressively from inside her home. When the resident investigated, she found the suspect in her home standing close to the her purse, which was on the table. The resident asked her what she was doing in her home; the suspect allegedly responded that she was interested in the woman’s car. The woman told the suspect to leave her home, but the resident was ignored and the suspect reportedly continued to move toward her purse. The woman yelled at the suspect who then left the home. Deputies found the suspect and arrested her near the two homes; 2200 block at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday.

Janet Lee Drive in La Crescenta, a man reported that someone threw a roll of toilet paper at the front window of his residence, shattering it; 2500 block at 2:25 a.m. on Saturday.

Altura Street in La Crescenta, the windshield of a vehicle was completely shattered by a brick; 3000 block between 2:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Vista Del Oro Street in La Crescenta, a bench was stolen from the front yard of a residence; 5400 block overnight, June 8-9.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, several containers of baby formula were stolen from Vons Market; 600 block at 6:59 p.m. on June 10.

Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a student reported his cellphone was stolen from a table from the campus quad area; 2900 block at 2:55 p.m. on June 10.
