Engaged:

Heather Joy Lang and Justin Alan Griffith, both Crescenta Valley High School graduates, have announced their engagement.

The bride’s parents are Chris and Joy Lang of Glendale. The groom’s parents are Gary Griffith of La Crescenta and Rebecca Griffith of Chatsworth.

Heather graduated from CVHS in 2003, continuing her education at UC Irvine, graduating in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and social behavior. She now resides in Newport Beach and currently is employed by Autism Spectrum Therapy as a behavioral therapist.

Justin is a 2001 CVHS graduate. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from 2001-06. He also now lives in Newport Beach and works as a project manager for a construction company.

The couple have set a Sept. 26 wedding date planned for Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado, Calif.
