Holy Family 3, Bishop Conaty-Loretto 1: Ashlee Sandoval recorded 10 kills Tuesday to lead the host Gaels to a 24-26, 25-21, 25-15, 25-16 Horizon League win at Pacific Community Park Center.

Alexa Sandoval and Rebecca Sanchez had 12 and 10 assists, respectively, for Holy Family (10-2, 2-1 in league).

Pilibos 3, Glendale Adventist Academy 0: Andrea Blake contributed four kills Tuesday for the host Cougars in a 25-22, 25-19, 25-18 Westside League loss.

Montana Psai had three kills and two aces for Glendale Adventist Academy (0-4 in league).



Glendale 14, Burbank 2: Martin Narinyan and Gor Asryan each scored four goals Tuesday to spark the visiting Nitros in a Pacific League match.

Shant Tokatyan had three goals for Glendale (9-1, 3-0 in league). Glendale, ranked No. 7 in the latest CIF Southern Section Division VI poll, got two goals from Cole Veloz and nine saves from goalkeeper Haik Chatalyan.

St. John Bosco 16. Flintridge Prep 8: Chris Chu and Jeff Tobias each scored three goals for the Rebels (6-9) in Tuesday's nonleague road match at Thompson Park in Bellflower.

Flintridge Prep also got one goal apiece from Garrett Wax and Brandon Wen.



Glendale Community College 3, Santa Monica City College 1: Jessica Alvarez and Brittany Frederick had 10 kills apiece and Alyssa Rosca contributed 43 assists to spark the host Vaqueros to a 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 25-22 Western State Conference victory. Ana Flores had eight digs for Glendale college (6-6).

The Vaqueros began the week with a 25-17, 25-7, 25-20 conference win against West Los Angeles College on Oct. 6.



Glendale Community College 1, L.A. Mission College 0: The Vaqueros closed out the week Friday with a Western State Conference road win.

Glendale college (3-4-3, 1-2-1 in conference) started its week Oct. 6 with a 1-0 loss to Santa Monica City College.
