GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Crescenta Valley 57, Burbank 40: Cassie Pappas scored 22 points to lead the Falcons in a Pacific League road victory on Tuesday.
Melanie Minas added 12 points for Crescenta Valley (21-5, 11-2 in league).
Arcadia 48, Glendale 44: Stella Ghazarian contributed 14 points for the visiting Nitros in a Pacific League game Tuesday.
Glendale (6-17 and 1-12) received eight points apiece from Serah Mirzaeian and Nine Sahakian.
Holy Family 62, Bishop Conaty-Loretto 22: Shabby Talab scored 22 points to lead the Gaels in a Horizon League home victory at Pacific Park on Tuesday.
The Gaels (8-13), who also got 17 points from Jennifer Fisher and 11 points from Gabby Diaz, will enter the CIF playoffs as the third-place team from their league after finishing tied for second at 5-3 with Sacred Heart of Jesus, but losing a tiebreaker.
Pilibos 46, Glendale Adventist Academy 44: The host Cougars fell in a Westside League game Tuesday. Glendale Adventist is 3-4 in league.
Flintridge Prep 53, Webb 30: Megan Musashi led the Rebels with 23 points and eight rebounds, while Deanna Watson added 12 points, 14 rebounds and four assists in a Prep League home win on Tuesday. Kristin Shum scored eight points for Prep (19-6, 9-2).
On Monday, the visiting Rebels received 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals from Musashi in a 56-38 league win over Mayfield. Prep got 13 points from Shum.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Muir 69, Hoover 57: Samson Injigulyan had 19 points and Sevada Minassians added 16 on Tuesday for the visiting Tornadoes in a Pacific League contest.
Hoover (13-13 and 4-9 in league) lost Narek Abcarian to an ankle injury in the second quarter.
Arcadia 70, Glendale 54: Eddie Nersisyan returned from injury to lead the Nitros (7-18, 2-11) with 15 points in a Pacific League loss on Tuesday.
GIRLS’ WATER POLO
Flintridge Prep 8, Milken Community 3: Host Flintridge Prep got three goals from Janice Park and two from Lily Manuel on Monday in a Prep League match. The Rebels got one goal apiece from Dana Schoppers, Chelsea Rapaport and Lilah Curim.
MEN’S GOLF
Vaqueros tie for third at invitational: Glendale Community College finished tied with Saddleback College for third place after shooting a 206 at the Victor Valley Tournament on Monday at Spring Valley Lakes Country Club in Victor Valley.
Glendale college’s Nick Quintanilla and Erik Stratton captured low-medalist honors after Stratton made a four-foot putt to win the two-man best ball competition. The duo shot a combined eight-under-par 64.
Glendale college’s Brennan Amirkhazi and Nate Sheffield worked together to shoot a five-under-par 67. Bernard Leon and Joe Boonoppornkul of Glendale college paired up to shoot a three-over-par 75.
Ventura College won the 14-team event with a 200, followed by Santiago Canyon College (201).
