Rebels fall in tourney game

The Flintridge Prep baseball team closed out the Atascadero Tournament on Wednesday with a 5-3 loss to Santa Clara. Connor McCann collected a pair of hits, including a run-scoring double in the seventh inning for the Rebels who lost their fourth game in a row and are now 6-5.

Basketball clinic being conducted

Full Force Basketball Academy will hold five-week youth basketball clinics Mondays and Thursdays at the Glendale YWCA, 735 E. Lexington Drive, Glendale.

The elite basketball training and conditioning clinic will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays.

The shooting clinic will be conducted 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursdays.

The clinics are geared for boys and girls of all ages.

Karapetyan Soccer Academy

Harut Karapetyan, a former striker on the Los Angeles Galaxy and Armenian National Team, will conduct his soccer academy Tuesdays and Fridays.

The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at the Glendale Sports Complex, 2200 Fern Lane, Glendale.

The development program is geared for ages 5-12 and will cover fundamentals.
