BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Flintridge Prep 3, Pasadena Poly 1: Kenyatta Smith finished with a team-high 13 kills and six blocks Thursday to lift the visiting Rebels to a 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 25-19 Prep League win.

Edmund Chow had nine kills for the Rebels (9-5 and 2-0 in league). Kieran Mulroy collected 31 assists for Flintridge Prep.

Harvard-Westlake 3, St. Francis 0: Matt Grace had 20 assists and Charles McCarthy had a team-high seven kills for the Golden Knights in a 25-25, 25-19, 25-21 Mission League loss on Thursday.

Wesley Coffey had six kills for St. Francis (3-7, 0-7 in league) and Thomas Banks had 14 digs.

GIRLS’ SWIMMING

Harvard-Westlake 88, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 82: The Tologs fell in a key Mission League road meet on Thursday, made all the more important by the fact that it was for first place in league after front-runner Alemany’s March 11 victory over Sacred Heart had been forfeited.

BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD

Loyola 98, St. Francis 29: The Golden Knights fell to 3-2 overall and in Mission League competition on Thursday.

James Knowles ran to a first-place time of 15.3 seconds in the 110 high hurdles and Walker Fitch took first in the triple jump in 40 feet 9 1/2 inches. David Chirikian garnered first in the shot put at 49-4.

TJ Tree finished second in the 300 high hurdles in 41.7.

SOFTBALL

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 6, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 1: The Tologs dropped to 5-5 and 0-2 in the Mission League after a road loss on Thursday.

BOYS’ GOLF

Viewpoint 194, Flintridge Prep 205: Jack Bouchard led the Rebels with an even-par 36 in a Prep League match at Woodley Lakes Golf Club on Thursday.

Tim Jones carded a 41, Dylan Colliflower had a 42 and Justin Farshidi and Ryan Kim each finished with a 43 for Prep (11-6, 7-3).

COLLEGE BASEBALL

Bakersfield College 7, Glendale Community College 6: Nash Hutter had a grand slam for the Vaqueros in the sixth inning of a Western State Conference loss at Stengel Field on Thursday that dropped Glendale to 13-17 and 5-10 in conference.

The Vaqueros allowed all of Bakersfield’s runs over the first two innings with five coming in the opening frame.

COLLEGE SOFTBALL

College of the Canyons 18, Glendale Community College 1: Rachel Allen had a run-scoring single for the host Vaqueros in a Western State Conference Southern Division contest at the Glendale Sports Complex on Thursday. Glendale college dropped to 17-21 and 7-11 in the division.
