Longtime Glendale resident Nancy Thoburn Donnelly died June 17 at La Posada's La Hacienda Nursing Facility in Green Valley, Ariz. She was 92.

The 50-year Glendale resident was born in Sunderland, England, and immigrated to Montreal. She was the first female vice president at Glendale Federal Savings Bank and retired as branch manager of the Burbank office in 1983.

Donnelly is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and grandson, Andy Andow. She is survived by her brother Fred Thoburn; three children, Peter Donnelly, Anne Andow and Michael Donnelly; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The Neptune Society will provide a burial at sea. There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.
