Community Foundation of the Verdugos, formerly the Glendale Community Foundation, has set a Sept. 1 deadline for requests for its next round of funding. Nonprofit agencies in Burbank, Glendale, La Crescenta, La Canda-Flintridge, Montrose, and Verdugo City may seek funds by accessing the grant application at https://www.communityfoundationoftheverdugos.org. In February, the foundation awarded $22,750 to area nonprofits. The annoucement for funding of proposals from the June 1 cycle will be made by the end of July. For more information, call 818-241-8040.
