BREAKING: Griffith Park fire knocked down

Three Glendale Fire Department engines and two from Burbank Fire Department fought a blaze that broke out in Griffith Park this afternoon.

The 5-acre fire was about a quarter-mile inside the park.

L.A. Battalion Chief Richard Rideout said, “It’s 5 acres and we’re down to the shortstrokes now.”
