The City Council on Tuesday will consider a $562,380-contract to Edison ESI for the replacement of equipment at Grayson Power Plant.

Glendale Water & Power officials recommend the work to maintain reliable operations by replacing outdated equipment.

The City Council will also consider granting an additional $112,476 for contingencies.

Technology purchase order

The City Council will consider an emergency purchase order with Agilysys to provide backup technology services for the Glendale Water & Power Smart Grid project.

The more than $30-million project features the installation of so-called “smart” electric and water meters that will allow customers to track real-time usage.
