Man shot near Glendale train station

SOUTH GLENDALE — A man was shot multiple times early Saturday morning after arriving at the Glendale Amtrak and Metrolink Station, police said.

The shooting occurred around 6:10 a.m. Saturday, police said, after the man arrived at the station to visit family in Glendale.

The man, who is in his 50s, suffered three gunshot wounds. He was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

Two men were likely involved in the shooting, police said. Both are described as Hispanic, between 16 and 20 years old and about 5 feet 8 inches tall.

The shooting motive remains unknown, but police said they are investigating the possibility of a robbery attempt.
