Joyce Margret Friesen
Long time Glendale resident Joyce Margret Friesen died unexpectedly on 27 September. She was 84.
She was born in Montreal, Canada and moved to Glendale in 1969. She enjoyed going to the Dorothy Chandler for opera and classical music and the Mark Taper for theatre. She also enjoyed travelling to numerous countries around the world with her husband. In her later years, she took up watercolor painting and creating stained glass art.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David. She is survived by her daughter Louise and her husband Tony; her sons David and Carl; her daughter Carolyn and her husband Brian; grandchildren, Kyle Levi, Nicholas, Nolan and Luke and one great-granddaughter, Prame.
A memorial will be held from 11:00 to 2:00 on October 15th at Glendale Presbyterian Church, 125 S. Louise St.
