Michelle Obama scheduled to appear on Glendale radio station Wednesday

Just days after her husband, President Obama, zipped through Glendale for a taping on Univision’s radio show “Piolin por la Manana,” First Lady Michelle Obama is scheduled to make a more scaled down appearance Wednesday.

In an announcement posted on the station’s website, Michelle Obama is scheduled to appear for an on-air taping of Eddie ‘Piolin’ Sotero’s popular radio show.

Police said there were no plans for the sort of street closures that accompanied the president last week when he visited the same station, which is located inside the Unum building on North Central Avenue near the Ventura (134) Freeway.

During his taping last week, the president faced some pointed questions about deportations of illegal immigrants and other policy issues.
