Helen E. (Rames) Briggs, age 102 of Hanover and lived in Glendale, CA before moving to Hanover twelve years ago, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Waters of Clifty Falls.

Born June 13, 1908 in Hartshome, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of James and Clara (Noll) Rames, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death her first husband, Oral Ferguson; her second husband, Vann Hudson; her third husband, Leo Briggs; one sister, Ruth Munson and one brother, James Rames.

Mrs. Briggs was a retired owner and operator of a book store in Glendale, California and was of the Christian faith.

SURVIVORS

Survivors include one son, James L. Ferguson of Hanover; two grandchildren, Kathleen Chapman and Lynne Chapman; four great-grandchildren, Thomas, Sam, Matthew and Emma Chapman and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES

Private family graveside service was held on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Hanover Cemetery.

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY
