Lori Jo DeBoever peacefully passed away at home on December 24, 2010 after being diagnosed with lung cancer in July. Born February 12, 1958, in Minnesota, she moved to Southern California in 1962. Lori was a creative free spirit who loved country music, baking, writing, and camping with her son. She was an active volunteer in Boy Scouts participating in all her son’s events and held the position of Advancement Chair for Troop 201. Lori is survived by her son, Matthew Manarchy, his father, Ross Manarchy, her sisters Lyn, Pamm, Victoria and Terri, her niece and nephew, Carly and Tyler Snyder, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Julie, in April 2010, and her father, Hal, in November 2010.

Lori will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts. Services for Lori will be held at the Magnolia Park United Methodist Church, 2828 W. Magnolia Blvd in Burbank on Saturday, January 8, at 11am. Inurnment will follow at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery then a Celebration of Life reception will be held at The Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
