All-Area Second Team

Alyssa Walton, Senior, Outside Hitter/Right Side, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy

A first-team snub, All-Mission League first-team selection was often asked to play right side to balance the Tologs’ offense. The offensive threat came up with six key blocks along with 109 kills and 32 digs. Helped Sacred Heart post a 6-3 league record and qualify for the CIF Division I-AA playoffs.

Alessandra Orlandini, Junior, Setter, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy

Another first-team caliber talent, she collected 537 assists, 96 digs and eight aces. All-Mission League first-team selection helped the Tologs finish second in Mission League and reach the postseason yet again.

Sarah Tubert, Senior, Setter, Burbank

More than just a passer, the All-Pacific League first-team member recorded 281 assists, 107 digs, 61 kills, 30 blocks and 23 aces. Fueled the Bulldogs to a third-place finish in league.

Megan Stephenson, Junior, Middle Blocker, Burroughs

All-Pacific League first-team pick averaged 15 kills a match, guiding the Indians to a second-place finish in league behind Arcadia and a playoff appearance.

Ashlee Sandoval, Junior, Outside Hitter, Holy Family

Guided the Gaels to an 8-0 league record and a first-place finish in the Horizon League. Recorded 341 digs and 203 kills and was selected for the Horizon League’s first team.

Taryn Nelson, Sophomore, Outside Hitter, Bellarmine-Jefferson

Finished the season with 169 kills, 103 digs and 57 aces. The Santa Cruz League first-team selection helped the Guards go an undefeated 8-0 in league.
