January 6, 1922- January 7, 2011.

Anne passed away quietly at Providence St. Josephs Medical Center after recently experiencing several strokes.

Anne, the third of four children, was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. It was a difficult childhood which included the deaths of her mother, father, closest brother, and grandparents who took her in. She always said that her lifelong efforts to be kind, comforting and generous came from that early suffering.

In 1941, after a two week courtship, Anne married Rinard Flint and they quickly settled in Burbank where they shared a wonderful life with each other and their community. Rinard was Anne’s creative expressionist and she was his unfailing supporter. Both were well-known for their generosity and fun. After Rinard’s death in 1996, Anne spent six years as a volunteer with Hospice again finding comfort in helping others.

Anne asked that there be no funeral or memorial service. She said, “Tell everyone that I have had my flowers and hope to be remembered quietly with love.” She will be placed next Rinard at 11 a.m. on January 21st at Forest Lawn in Glendale where several of her favorite thoughts will be read.
