Caroline Mae Benjamin

Mae (99) Canadian born Glendale resident passed away on January 11, 2011 of natural causes.

She was educated in Glendale and received her nursing degree from Bishop Johnson College of Nursing in Los Angeles.

Following nursing school she moved to Rochester, NY with her husband John A. Benjamin MD where they lived for 25 years before returning to Glendale. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Mae a beloved mother to her three children; John A. Benjamin, III, Linda Benjamin and Sallie (Michael) Arndt; step daughter Suzanne King; and grandmother to Michael, Heather John and Todd Arndt and Scott and Christopher King, will be greatly missed.

She was very active in community affairs and served two terms as Chairwoman of the Tuesday Afternoon Club. She was an active member of the Grandview Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Grandview Presbyterian Church.
