Fox’s family moved to Glendale a year ago for the award-winning schools. She has two children who will enroll in Glendale Unified once they are of school age. Fox has a master’s degree in behavior neuroscience and taught at Crescenta Valley High School for five years.

Why are you running for school board?

I am concerned with the direction Glendale Unified has taken in regards to furlough days, increases in classroom sizes, and the adversarial tone toward teachers.

What is your stance on Measure S, and why?

It would be much better if Measure S was not composed of restricted funds and could be used as seen fit by Glendale Unified. Since this is what is on the ballot, I support this as a stop-gap so that the district can still provide a quality educational experience for all.
