Why are you running for school board?

I am running for school board because I want more parental and community involvement, resources focused on classroom and school sites, and transparency and accountability for financial and policy decisions.

What does the district need to improve on?

We need clear, concise, accurate information in different formats to reach the greatest number of stakeholders.

What is your stance on Measure S, and why?

I would have rather seen a parcel tax, as opposed to a bond, which can be used for personnel (or whatever is specifically stated in the language), who have a direct impact on student achievement. People should persuade their legislators to get the ballot initiative on the June ballot and let the electorate vote to continue the taxes that we currently pay to the state.
