Born July 14, 1955, in Long Beach, California, passed away on February 22, 2011. His simplicity, laughter, humor, storytelling, love of animals and compassion are treasures his family and friends will cherish. He is survived by his son, Donald James Brolsma, sister, Lisa Huff, nieces, Alyson Boocock and Erin Huff, great niece, Charlee Boocock, and former spouse of 24 years, Norma Louise Brolsma. Mark is also survived by their family dog, Sammy, whom he adopted for his son after the passing of their beloved dog, Brandy. The Rosary will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011, 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 3801 Scott Road, Burbank, CA 91504. The mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, and the burial immediately following at the Mission Hills Catholic Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Avenue, Mission Hills, CA 91345.
