Nonprofit director to discuss youth health issues

Share

Camille Levee, executive director of Glendale Healthy Kids, is scheduled to appear live Thursday on “The Larry Zarian Show.”

Glendale Healthy Kids, which connects low-income youth with free or low-cost health care, has played a prominent role in social-services programming, especially as the recession has put a heavier burden on household budgets.

The nonprofit depends on several key fundraisers throughout the year, and on a network of local physicians and health-care providers to achieve its mission. Levee will likely discuss those issues and the challenges low-income youth face to stay healthy.

The show airs at 7 p.m. on Charter Cable Channel 380. The viewer call-in number is (818) 547-3668.
