Latino students can apply for scholarship

Students of Latino heritage who are graduating from a Glendale Unified School District high school or Glendale-area private high school can apply for a scholarship granted by the Glendale Latino Assn.

Deadline for applications has been extended to March 18. Applications and guidelines can be obtained at the GLA website at www.glendalelatinoassociation.com or via the Community Foundation of the Verdugos website at www.communityfoundationoftheverdugos.org.

Applicants must be committed to attending a two- or four-year, post-secondary educational or technical training institution with special consideration given to those who have done community service. For more information, call (818) 241-8040.
