Zarian to host GCC candidates

All three candidates in the race for the Glendale Community College Board of Trustees are scheduled to appear live Thursday on “The Larry Zarian Show” to discuss their reasons for running.

Former city Design Review Board Chairman Vartan Gharpetian is challenging incumbents Tony Tartaglia and Vahe Peroomian for one of two available seats on the board of trustees.

The college is currently going through an all-important accreditation process, as well as grappling with how to deal with millions in expected state funding cuts.
