Obituary: Kenneth Gervasi

Kenneth Gervasi died March 11 in Santa Clarita. He was 76.

He was born on Feb. 21, 1935 in Scranton, Penn.

He lived in Glendale for 47 years and Las Vegas for 10 years.

After retiring from the Thomas Rug Cleaners of Los Angeles, he moved to Las Vegas, where he played cards, bowled in a senior league and spent time with family and friends.

He is survived by his brother, Duke Gervasi, and sister, Maryann Ferrell; children Lisa McGeorge, Kenny Gervasi, Frank Gervasi, Joni Gervasi, and Vince Gervasi; 19 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his companion, Nancy Driskill.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday with a reception immediately following at the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Parish, 22508 Copper Hill Dr., Santa Clarita.
