PTA endorses Measure S

Share

Glendale Council PTA passed a resolution on Jan. 27 to endorse Measure S on the April 5 ballot. During the economic crisis facing California and the nation, the group sees Measure S as an opportunity for the Glendale community to help provide local funding for quality schools.

All 25 Glendale PTA units have participated in the campaign by distributing literature, neighborhood walking, holding informational meetings and volunteering in the phone-bank program.

As the April 5 election approaches, more volunteers are needed for phone banking during evening hours and a neighborhood walk on April 2. Glendale Council PTA President Elizabeth Manasserian extends an invitation to community members of Glendale to join the campaign.

If you are interested in participating, call Devin Osiri at (818) 823-8853.
