Former resident of Burbank, California (1947 to 2006) died March 31 in Sunnyvale, California. Memorial services will be held at Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd. Burbank, California, 91506- phone 818-845-3766. Friends are welcome to meet with the family for a light buffet there at 5 pm. Services will begin at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Florence’s favorite educational scholarship fund: “Delta Theta Chi Sorority California Rho Chapter” sent in care of her daughter, Carol Olmstead, 744 Harvard Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94087-1205.

Florence is survived by a younger uncle, Frank Atkinson, of California; two younger sisters, Bea Magley and Irene Sparber, of Washington; three children, Carol Hill Olmstead and her spouse, Jeff, of California, Rod Hill and his spouse, Becky, of Indiana, and John Hill of Nevada; seven grandchildren (in order by age) Sharon, Dan, Roy, Carina, Ryan, Rachael, and Dannielle and 12 great grandchildren.
