Patricia Haist

Patricia Haist passed away peacefully on March 4, 2011. She was 71 years old.

Patricia was born December 27, 1939 in San Diego, California. She moved to Glendale, California in 1945 and graduated from Glendale High School in 1956. Patricia worked for the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department after high school. In May 1958, a co-worker introduced her to Frank Haist and they married that September. They were happily married for over 52 years. Patricia was in charge of the cheerleaders and was team mom for several teams in the beginning years of the Burbank Vikings. She was involved in the PTA at Mingay Elementary School while her three children attended. After her children were grown, she assisted Frank as the Camp Host at Morro Bay State Park for 8 years.

Patricia was loved by all. Her great sense of humor, beautiful smile, and wonderful cooking will be missed but fondly remembered. Patricia is survived by her husband Frank; sons Frank (Natacha) and Scott (Patricia); daughter Cassandra (Doug Christopher) and 8 grandchildren.
