Carolyn B. Stelter

Carolyn B. Stelter, a long time resident of Glendale was a teacher and program supervisor for the Glendale Unified School District for over 25 years.

Mrs. Stelter was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 26, 1936 and passed away on April 16, 2011. She was 75.

She was active in the community and a member of Soroptimist International of Glendale for 20 years. She also gave generously of her time and talent to the Assistance League of Glendale and she especially enjoyed working in the Assistance League’s Thrift Shop.

She loved art and classical music and playing bridge with her many friends. She will be remembered for her love of life,her sense of humor, and the joy and love she gave to her family and friends.

Carolyn is survived by her long time companion, Oley Young, her two sons; Fritz and Kelly and three grandchildren; Amanda, Samantha, and Ryan Stelter.

A celebration of her life is being planned.
