Boon Hartsinck, Janice Marguerite, 92

Jan Boon Hartsinck was born to Capt. and Mrs. Taylor E. Duncan in Hollywood, California, September 11, 1918. She grew up on Cole Avenue, graduating from Hollywood High School and attending Los Angeles College. She met the love of her life, the “Flying Dutchman” Adriaan “Boen” Boon Hartsinck, while she worked at Lockheed Aircraft Corp. and he arrived to represent KLM Airlines. They had 59 wonderful years together before Boen passed on in 1997. They are survived by 3 daughters, 8 terrific grandchildren and 15 wonderful great -grandchildren. Jan was active for many, many years in the La Providencia Guild of Children’s Hospital, and the American Heart Association. We loved our mother so very much and she will be greatly missed. At their request, she and our father will be scattered over their beloved ranch in Paso Robles, CA. Donations in Jan’s memory to the La Providencia Guild of Children’s Hospital are most welcomed.
