Debra “Debby” Suzann Esterly Orne passed away April 18 in Spokane, Washington, at the age of 44, following a brief illness. Debby was born in Glendale, Calif. on August 28, 1966, and lived in La Canada until the age of 14. She attended Mountain Avenue Elementary and Rosemont Junior High School. Her family, Dave and Peggy Esterly and brother Rick, relocated to Spirit Lake, Idaho in 1980. Debby graduated from Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, Idaho, and received her AA degree from Kinman College in Spokane, Washington. She married Russell Orne on October 27, 2001. Debby enjoyed working with her husband in the businesses they owned. Debby was very active with her children, Brandon and Chelsea Streibeck, involved in Girl Scouts, sports and many fundraising activities throughout their school years. Debby was an avid gardener and scrap-booker, documenting every year and trip in detail. She loved the outdoors, and put loving care into every detail of their beautiful log home on the Coeur D’Alene River.
