Walt was born in Rochester NY, on August 2, 1930. He moved to California with his family as a young boy in 1935. He grew up in Eagle Rock and met his wife Marcia in high school. They were married in 1953 and resided in Burbank for their entire married life. Walt was the third generation in the family business, Schreiners Fine Sausages Inc. located in Glendale, Ca. Favorite past times include boating and RV trips with their many family and friends.

Walt leaves behind Marcia, his wife of 57 years, 4 children, Steven, Christine, Richard and Wally, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Private burial service will be held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.
