Robert Marks

Bob passed away peacefully at home following a long battle with cancer at the age of 74. Bob was a resident of Burbank for over 50 years. His family will forever remember his laugh, love and support.

Bob graduated from Verdugo Hills High School. After high school, Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1956 – 1958. He worked for Vons grocery stores for over 15 years and retired from Frito-Lay after a 40 year career in sales and management. Bob loved golf and spending time on the course with his grandson Ryan. He belonged to several local golf clubs including DeBell. Bob was a 20 year member of the Burbank Elks Lodge.

Bob is survived by his adored wife, Shirley of 52 years of marriage, daughters Patty and Debbie, son-in-laws Russ and Jim, grandson Ryan, siblings John, Don and Sally. Your strength and courage will forever be missed. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on May 21, 2011 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Burbank, CA.
