Frank Flores

Frank Flores passed away on May 5th, 2011 surrounded by family and loved ones at the age of 75.

He is survived by three of his sons, Frank Jr., Steven and Scott; his daughter, Kristine; four grandchildren, Justin, Jeni, Jonathan and Jordan and his long-time girlfriend, Helen Amore.

Frank is the second of eleven children to Luis and Rose Flores and after growing up in Los Felix, the family moved to Burbank. He enlisted in the army where he was a boxer. When he returned home, he got a job with the City of Burbank where he worked for thirty-eight years. He loved boxing, wrestling and westerns and was very active with the senior groups. Frank was very social with everyone he met and was often described as “quite a character!”

He was greeted in Heaven by his son, Robert “Bobby” and ex-wife Monica, as well as many family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at Saint Finbar Church on Saturday, May, 28th 2011 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
