Cullie Dunn Flynn, 95, died May 20, 2011 at his home in Burbank, California.

A native of Amite, Louisiana, he is survived by one son, Richard Don Flynn and wife Tara, Burbank, California; one grandson, Jon Patrick Flynn and wife Jessica, Burbank, California; one daughter, Mary Jayne Williams and husband Ted, Dana Point California. He was preceded in death by his parents William S. Flynn and Rosa Lee, and five brothers, Angus, Dallas, O.D, Melvin, James, and sister Katie Flynn Joiner.

Cullie served in the Army-Air corps during World War II. He attained the rank of Master Technical Sergeant. He was stationed in Ipswich England as a crew chief on P-51’s and P-38’s. Cullies post military career was that of machinist for aerospace and Orowheat Baking Company, both in Burbank.

He was a loving husband, father and friend. His genuine love of people, abiding faith, and winsome personality touched many. All fortunate to know him were truly blessed.

Cullie will be interred at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills with his beloved wife of 67 years, Patricia Mae Sanders Flynn. His service will be held at Forest Lawn at 11:00 AM on June 25.
