Woman trapped in car after crash

Glendale firefighters on Tuesday extricated a woman from her overturned car after it went off the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway interchange to the southbound I-5.

The woman was trapped in the Infiniti sedan, forcing firefighters to cut her out of the car. The woman, whose identity and injuries were not available Tuesday afternoon, was taken to a nearby hospital.

Crews briefly closed the transition road for the cleanup.
