Milton Clarence Taft

Milton Clarence Taft, 79, of Bonita Springs, Florida, died on June 10, 2011 at Juniper Village in Naples, FL. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Gisela and his two children, Jane Taft of Redondo Beach, CA and Charles Taft of Fallbrook, CA. Milt was born March 12, 1932 in Shelbourne Falls, MA. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School in Uxbridge, MA and graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1954 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In 1965 he and his family moved to La Canada, CA where his two children attended school and graduated from La Canada High School in 1973 and 1975. During that time, Milt managed Youth baseball teams in La Canada for 10 years. He was an avid golfer and a member of La Canada Country Club. He and his wife moved to Florida in 1995 where he continued enjoying golf. He was an excellent skier and a world traveler. His family and friends mourn the loss of this wonderful, well respected man.
