This week in traffic
In Glendale, crews continue working on an improvement project on San Fernando Road, concentrating this coming week on the intersection at Pacific Avenue.
In Burbank, one residential street improvement project is complete and the city is planning another for later this summer, according to Burbank City Engineer Sean Corrigan.
Along the Golden State (5) Freeway, on- and off-ramps from the Ventura (134) Freeway to Magnolia Blvd. may be closed intermittently 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., according to the California Department of Transportation.

Up to two lanes of northbound I-5 from Buena Vista St. to Sheldon St./Laurel Canyon Blvd., 8 p.m. - 1 a.m., 4 – 6 a.m. Three lanes could be closed, midnight - 4 a.m.
Up to two lanes of northbound I-5 from Buena Vista St. to Penrose St., 10 p.m. - 5 a.m. Up to three lanes could be closed, 1 – 5 a.m.
Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 from Buena Vista St. to Sheldon St./Laurel Canyon Blvd., 8 - 11 p.m., 4 - 6 a.m. Up to three lanes could be closed, 11 p.m. - 4 a.m.
Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 from Hollywood Way to Penrose St., 10 p.m. - 5 a.m. Up to three lanes may be closed, midnight – 6 a.m.

Through Friday
Concrete work will be continue along the eastbound side of San Fernando Road, focused on the intersection of Pacific Ave. Workers will demolish sidewalks, curbs and gutters, as well as work on traffic signal conduit. There will be intermittent lane closures from Pacific to Windsor Road, but one lane will always remain open.
Also, crews from Glendale Water & Power will work this coming week on the Glorietta Well, located at Glorietta Avenue and Verdugo Road. There will be intermittent lane closures in that area.
