Earl E. Schmit, 86, passed away June 26, 2011, at the home of his daughter Peggy Hart in Mesa, Arizona.

Earl was born January 8, 1925, in Quincy, Illinois to parents Aurelia and Alois. Earl earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. Earl earned the rank of Corporal in the United States Army and served during World War II. Most of Earl’s working career was spent with Sears as an Advertising Executive.

Earl met his wife Annabella Farkas Schmit in Denver, Colorado, and resided with his wife Annabella in West Los Angeles for the past several decades. Earl enjoyed golf, racquetball, painting, and documentaries on the history channel. Earl is remembered as a warm, thoughtful, tender, and generous soul by his wife, his eight children, his two stepsons, and his many grandchildren.
