Police vow to crack down on drunk driving

Holiday revelers should think twice this Fourth of July weekend before getting behind the wheel after drinking alcohol.

Police in the Los Angeles region planned to crack down on drunk drivers through the holiday weekend starting Friday.

Glendale and Burbank police officers were set to participate in a regional sobriety checkpoint and saturation patrols.

California Highway Patrol officers will also be out in force on local highways and roads.
