Arnold Leib was born on March 13, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA, son to Harry and Mildred Leib.

Arnie moved to L.A. with his parents as a teenager, where he attended Farifax High and L.A.C.C., and first married June Harriett Ziff, with whom he fathered three adoring children: Lisa Gayle, Jody Ivonne, and Paul Lindon.

Business was his calling, and in purchasing the family fur servicing firm, Calbest Fur Service, Arnie forged out on more than half a century of growing the business into the largest facility of its kind on the west coast.

Arnie was driven to be successful by a legendary work ethic bounded by his limitless perfectionism founded upon the cornerstones of integrity, dedication, discipline, and sheer determination.

Even more central to Arnie’s core than work however, were his wife, children, and grandchildren all of whom loved him very much. Absolutely nothing was more important to Arnie than the health, well-being, and happiness of his family.

At his side for close to thirty six years was Arnie’s loving and caring secone wife, Dolores Biscuccia Leib, who was also instrumental in the success of Calbest.

Arnie is survived by his wife Dolores, as well as children Jody and Paul, and grandchildren Cyndi, Bryan, Graham, and Shaun.

Funeral Service at Mount Sinai Memorial Park. Thursday, July 7, noon
