School raises funds for anniversary windows

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Crescenta Valley High School, a 15-panel series of stained glass windows has been designed to commemorate the school’s history. The panels were commissioned at $500 each. Tax deductible donations can be sent by cash or check directly to the school or by visiting the school’s website at www.cvhsfalcons.com and clicking on the link to pay by credit card.

VALLEY VIEW ELEMENTARY

Congratulations to Kelly Stubbs and Carlos Hernandez, who were honored as Employees of the Year. These dedicated individuals make a difference for the students and staff at the school on a daily basis.

All incoming kindergarten students and their parents are invited to the Annual Kindergarten Tea at 2 p.m. Aug. 26 in the auditorium. Students will get a sneak peak of their new classroom and meet the teachers.

The first day of school is Aug. 29. All parents are invited to attend the PTA Howdy Coffee beginning at 8:15 a.m. in the auditorium.
