Sun, highs in the 90s for much of the week

A huge high-pressure weather system that is blistering the Midwest will also keep temperatures here in the 90s for much of the week.

The hottest day will likely be Tuesday, when daytime highs could hit triple digits, according to the National Weather Service. Even as the trough of high-pressure moves east on Thursday, don’t expect much of cool down, with the highs expected to remain in the mid-90s through the weekend.

Today: Sunny. Highs: Upper-80s and -90s.

Tuesday: Sunny. Highs: 91 to 101.

Wednesday: Sunny. Highs: Upper-80s and -90s.

Thursday: Sunny. Highs: Mid-80s to 90s.

Friday: Sunny. Highs: Mid-80s to 90s.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs: Mid-80s to 90s.

Sunday: Thursday: Sunny. Highs: 90s.
